What Is Sintra ComPassion 2020?
Sintra ComPaixão is a vision in which all people of the county of Sintra get to know and practice a passionate and compassionate lifestyle inspired by the model Christ left us.
United in this vision, our action is guided by One Mission, Four Fundamental Truths and Seven Operational Principles.
Why does Sintra ComPaixão exist ? What is its purpose or mission?
In each home, a compassionte family! This is the mission in which a movement of people, families churches, organizations and companies commit to love and serve the families of the county of Sintra based on the simplest and deepest model of passion and compassion ever shown: Christ's.
On the one hand, to see all people inspired by the model of Christ:

That they would practice sacrificial love by meeting the physical, social and spiritual needs of communities through local resources.

That they would interact intentionally from a bliblical worldview, applying in each area of society the written truths found in the Bible.

That they would grow and multiply as a result of their transforming influence on society
On the other hand, to see local communities all over the municipality where:

The testimony of Cristo as Lord and Savior is put in the center of our lives (To love God above all things).

There happens a beneficial change in the diverse areas of the community's life (To love your neighbor as yourself).

There is a growing economical provision, social paz, and more justice in favour of the most vulnerable and marginalized people.
How does Sintra ComPassion Movement fulfill its mission ?

Inspired in the testimony of Christ in favour of all the families of the municipality of Sintra, Sintra Compassion fulfills its mission through the following strategy:
COMMUNICATING
Through the promotion of a clear vision of the needs(issues) and the existing answers(solutions) in the Municipality of Sintra aswell as a message of hope while approaching these.
TRAINING
Through the development of more skills in people, churches, organization and in community in general.
MOBILIZING
Through a more balanced distribution of responses on a geographic level and also referring to the social issues in all parishes of Sintra's Municipality.
To fulfill these goals, Sintra ComPassion Movement seeks to develop partnerships with existing national and international ministries aswell as to promote creation and implementation of innovative responses to the new challenges the population of Sintra's County encounters.

In what way is Sintra ComPassion Movement different from any other traditional organization?
Since its beginning in 2012, Sintra ComPassion has been seen as a movement catalyst of compassion. While traditional organizations manage their headquarters through paid staff to implement their programs, Sintra ComPassion is a network of volunteers. Everyone who envolve themselves with this movement is commited to the mission of the Movement, its fundamental values and its operative principles. Each volunteer can interact as much as dynamic as well as professional, working with local churches, third sector organizations or any other area of influence in society (economy, arts, education...). As these volunteers multiply in many parishes of the county, they will also be encouraged to implement their own ideas in various fields of social intervention. Through people, and specically those who assume leadership positions, all kinds of organizations can take part in the Movement promoting the message locally, training people and mobilizing the whole community in a vision of ComPassion.

Can the Sintra ComPassion Movement finance any project or local organization?
As a 100% volunteer Movement, Sintra ComPassion does not finance any project or local organization. Our commitment is developed through training, promotion and inovation, and network work.

How can I be part of the Sintra ComPassion MOVEMENT?
All individuals in their own name or in representation of a church, organization or company, who wish to be part of the Sintra ComPassion Movement must have completed the IC-ADN InFusion + IC-ADN InCubation trainings. The IC-ADN InStruction is reserved to everyone who wishes to be trainer in the creation, implementation and development of a Compassionate Life purpose.
What's the difference between "being part of the Vision" and "being part of the Movement" of Sintra ComPassion?
Only the second form of participation grants people the possibility to partake in leadership meetings in which the following issues are adressed:

Definition, assessment and changing of the Mission, Fundamental Truths or the Movement's Operational Principles.

Definition, assessment and changing of the Movement's Strategic Plan.

Presentation and assessment of the developed Activities.

Presentation and assessment of the accounting transactions.

Authorization for the creation, implementation and development of ideas in the name of Sintra ComPassion.
